Summer Lovin'

Vivian took her first gymnastics class this summer. She seemed to really like it. Her favorite apparatus was definitely the trampoline.

This picture is reminiscent of a picture that my parents took of me wearing my Dad's work boots...and not much of anything else!

She loves her rocking sheep these days.

We introduced her to Tiny...Nathan's 4-H horse. We didn't walk her around on him yet because Tiny doesn't do well separated from his buddy, Squigs, but she didn't seem scared at all.

Uncle Adam introduced her to the Three Stooges...neither one of them looks too impressed.

Another patriotic outfit compliments of Gma Julie.

Playing in tent Gma Julie found at a garage sale.

Playing at a neighborhood splash pad and park.

She really started to protest riding backwards in the car seat. I think it was mostly brought on by all her Gator rides at the farm. So, I switched her to forward facing. She seems much happier in the car and loves to 'read' on long trips.

She successfully finished her first round of swimming lessons this summer at the Marion pool.

We hit the presidential campaign trail and went to hear Rand Paul speak.

She's rediscovered the toilet paper roll. For about a week Nathan and I had to get used to using wadded up TP from the floor.

We went and checked out the trampoline park with the cousins. She had fun and jumped for about 30 minutes and then became obsessed with one of the balls.

She's spent a lot of time out at the farm...her favorite activity is riding in the gator to see the cows. Here she is out on the dam picking flowers.

At the park in West Chester.

Our first outing at the country club pool.

And last week we took a mini field trip to Bever Park to Old McDonald's Farm to visit the animals. Old McDonald's Farm is a former JLCR project. It's free, clean, and was fun to walk through.

Looking at the chickens.

Looking forward to fall!
